The purpose of this product is to present a different low-risk business improvement concept with respect to strategic integration management.

The product forms part of the IntegrateSA product line and is called the Integration GAP knowledge transfer presentation. It is customized for Executive Managers and senior Government Officials but can be presented on an individual basis.

The presentation is 1 hour extendable to 2 hours and addresses a low risk business improvement concept. This concept relates entirely to Systems as opposed to Managers where the intent is to improve the systems behind the Managers

The problem being addressed relates to the separation of Requirements and Execution management levels causing project delays with respect to schedule, cost and quality overruns. In Government, Requirements Statements are generally required while Corporations applies Project Sponsor Definitions to initiate projects or businesses.

This concept will attempt to broaden the view in order to lessen the probability of failure.

The Integration Gap presentation addresses the following points:
Basic Premises - 10 minutes
Business Case parameters - 5 minutes
Acquisition Knowledge Points - 5 minutes
Simulations - 5 minutes
Technology - 5 minutes
4 Acquisition Scenarios - 10 minutes
Basic Process - 20 minutes

Consumer advantages of the Integration Gap concept implementation are:
Projects or business promises will be delivered on schedule, within cost and to the contracted quality.
Less contractual conflicts and media posturing.
Consumers will appreciate a more innovative company.

Organizational benefits of the Integration Gap concept implementation are:
Clarity with respect to what should be done and by whom.
Clarity with respect to the relationship between technology and acquisition.
Opportunity for the contractor organization to appoint an “Integration Gap” Manager when needed
Improved bottom line. An improved bottom line is possible due to improved predictability of the cash flow arrangement.
No implementation risks. This concept is based on the 60 years of US Military Acquisition Programme Body of Knowledge.
No special resources or additional resources are required to implement this concept.
More structured and manageable media exposure based on closing the Safety Gap.
This concept is common to all projects regardless of priority thereby avoiding internal conflict wrt resource allocations and scheduling.

Note: The Integration Gap addresses a more serious problem than it seems. If not addressed properly, this impending deficiency may lead to more serious symptoms eventually resulting in dark organizations.
